I've spent the past couple of days slapping card and beads onto felt, which somehow makes trees. Felt is a very nice texture for trees.
Also made some foliage which Richard will try to help me fiddle with in Anime Studio.
They may or may not look better with squiggly lines drawn on...
Will try and recreate this drawing now (by using some of the foliage):
